Honors and Awards
On April 14, 2013, at the Spring Convention of the American Concrete Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mr. Bondy received ACI's highest award, Honorary Membership, "For your national leadership in the understanding of the behavior, design, and construction of post-tensioned building systems and your significant contributions to education, ACI committees, and the ACI 318 Building Code."

On October 21, 2012, at the Fall Convention of the American Concrete Institute in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Mr. Bondy received the Arthur J. Boase Award, "For advancing design and construction practices in post-tensioned concrete building structures."

On June 1, 2011, Mr. Bondy
was elected to Honorary Membership in the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California (SEAOSC), "In recognition of his many years of outstanding service to the Association". The organization was founded in 1929 and currently has 67 Honorary Members.

On March 21, 2010, at the Spring Convention of the American Concrete Institute in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Bondy received the Joe Kelly Award "In recognition of your outstanding contributions to the education of structural engineers in the field of post-tensioned concrete design both at an academic level and as an educator of practicing structural engineers." (This award was renamed the "Clyde E. Kesler Award").

On May 16, 2005, Mr. Bondy, along with 24 other individuals who have made "significant long-term contributions to the development of the post-tensioning industry in North America" were inducted as inaugural members into the Post-Tensioning Institute
Hall of Fame - "Legends of Post-Tensioning". The Awards Ceremony and Dinner were held during the annual PTI Engineering Conference at the Westin Tabor Center Hotel in Denver, Colorado.
